Really Old Airplanes is a fine example of confident artistry combined with fanfare and harmonies. Their intense musicality resonates with a variety of demographics, as evidenced by their range of success in just over a year. The band is comprised of Evan Benzinger, Kory Mathis, Keagan Smith and Sam Chakerian, all of which provide essential instrumentation including use of the ukulele, keyboard, bass, drums, drum machine, bells, and bass.
Really Old Airplanes has a solid touring roster under their belt and has opened for well-known acts including Local Natives, Good Old War, and Jack’s Mannequin. The band released their first full-length album, Forgotten Sadly and Broken Ends, in early April, and just recently returned from a national tour.
